Truck-Lite’s 12v LED Headlamp provides a new level of performance for 7” round forward lighting applications, offering the extended life an energy efficiency of light emitting diode technology. The first LED solution for headlamp applications, it provides brighter, crisper and whiter light output than incandescent alternatives, with greater dependability and resistance to damage caused by shock and vibration.Provides light output closer to the color temperature of daylight, dramatically improving light projection distance and overall visibility. Solid-state design resists damage from shock & vibration. Offers as much as 50x longer life (10,000 hrs vs 400 hrs) than comparable incandescent lamps, saving the time and expense of replacing lamps multiple times. Hard wired design, fully encapsulated electronics & anodized aluminum housing protect from damage caused by corrosive elements. Impact resistant polycarbonate lens protected against damage caused by debris and other hazards. The US Military has acquired more than 100,000 Truck-Lite 24 volt 7” round LED Headlamps since the release in 2007 for use on both new and existing wheeled and tracked vehicles in Iraq and Afghanistan. After passing rigorous testing and design improvements through corporate laboratory and field studies, Truck-Lite’s 24v launch is currently active on a number of military vehicles. The LED Headlamps have also undergone extreme weather testing at military installations in Panama, Arizona and Alaska with exceptional results!
